Janus Ridder Slitesterk

Ridder Slitesterk was the name of a popular Janus children’s clothing collection from the 1930s. The company renewed the collection as a celebration for the 100th anniversary of Janus in the year 2009, as since then they have brought it back with new colors and designs regularly.

The Ridder Slitesterk collection has always been extremely popular and now Janus designers have renewed the line again with new colors. Krinkel wool is one of the hallmarks of the collection. Krinkel wool is a mixture of 70% Merino wool, 28% Polyamide and 2% Lycra. The texture provides the garment with good flexibility, good durability and extra insulation due to the loops containing warm air.
The clothing is very comfortable and soft, and both the Krinkel wool and inner layer clothes have been very popular for kids to use in school and kindergarten.

All the woolen clothing from Janus is tested with the Oekotex 100 standard and certified to be free from harmful substances.
The clothes are machine washable on a wool or delicates cycle with wool detergent.
